Aimee says hello

We live in a beautiful country called South Africa. Right now it is Summer and is very hot. In South Africa there is so much to do such as – go to the waterfront and go on a boat ride or go to Cavendish and go shop for some nice clothes. Cape Town (the town we live in) has a beautiful mountain called Table Mountain and it is one of the seven wonders of the world. My family don’t travel a lot but since we live in Cape town there is so much to do which is great. Cape Town has beautiful nature, we have beautiful gardens where there are beautiful flowers and trees and you can even go and have some lunch. I find it great that we can communicate with you.

    Hi, my name's Francesca and I'm 13. I live in Italy. It's winter here now and it is very cold and rainy. In my town, Sant Agnello, you can go to the beach in summer but it is really expensive. My family travels a lot, we usually go to Sardinia, Croatia or Brescia.
    My favourite group is One Direction and my favourite singer is Lana Del Rey. I have one brother, he's 8. In my freetime I love watching TV and listening to music, also pop music. I like reading books and going out with friends.

    Hi Francesca, Im really happy because we are both so similar I do to love one direction and pop music, some of my hobbies are hockey, dancing, singing,reading and I love to spend time with my friends. as I said it is summer so I have been going to the beach with my family. I have a little sister called Juliette in grade one and she is 7 years old. I hope that one day I can visit italy, instead of traveling I go to my holiday house in Hermanus in the summer and it is so lovely there. I have brown hair that is in a bob now it used to be long but I decided that it was time to cute my hair :) and I have light blue eyes and my personality is very hyper not very hyper but sometimes my friednssay that i am very funny and friendly. At our school Micklefield we have a few values and they are: kind, respectful, honest and friendly.

    On Christmas day my grandparents and aunts and uncles would come over and we would have a big lunch and then open some presents, we would usually have turkey, roast potatoes and peas. Ciao Aimee.

    I have one brother, he's 8. He loves playing football. My favourite sport is football too but I don't play it. My favourite team is Juventus, an Italian team - do you know them? Do you like football?

    My favourite member of One Direction is Harry and my favourite sport is hockey, something exciting happening at our school is sports day and each year each grade has a fun race. As you said you loved to play football - I do not play football but sometimes me and my dad watch the games on our tv. During the holidays as I said I have a holiday house in Herman's and usually when I go it is very sunny so I would play outside or go to the beach with my family so it is very nice. Do you have any holiday houses? If you do where? Last week we had a summer picnic where the choirs at our school would sing and each year there would be a theme and this year the theme was cowboy/cowgirl and it is very nice. I have short brown hair with light blue eyes, my hair was long but I thought that it was time for a change. On Saturdays I usually go to my friends house and then we go out together and have a blast! What do you do with your friends?

    What's your favourite One Direction's song? My favourite One Direction's song is ''Little Things''. I don't have a holiday houses because I don't go always in same place when I'm in vacation. I love going to my friends house and also going to Vincenza's house. I really love playing volleyball or go out with my friends. You have another idols over One Direction?

    How are you? I saw the photo of your class and you! I think that you are very pretty and I love your hair. My favourite song from One Direction is Best Song ever and then Story of my life. And yes I do have other idols besides One Direction - I think that most people would say this but I idolise my mom :) Our school recently had a sports day and I came 2nd in a phew of my races. Something funny about our sports day is that our moms do a relay race and we all have a laugh. I would like to know if you go on any camps? we recently went on a camp and it was so fun!

In my school don't make a sport day and we don't have a camp, but i'd like to make a sport day because i love sport. You've a best friend? I have many best friends but the most important are Vincenza and Benedetta. We are very united and we are always confiding....

    At school we watched a video about Cape Town, It was a beautiful video and I would love to know more about the Football world cup 2010. Did you go to the stadium? Did you see any matches? It's very interesting for me.

I hope you did :) And no I did not go to the stadium but my dad and uncle would usually go to the matches - I find them a bit boring :( I am really sad because its nearly the end of our term so we wont be able to talk anymore but i was wondering if we can can still talk if you have an email?

    I am really sad because this is our last messgae I hope that we can stay in touch because I love writing to you! if you would like to stay in touch please take my email address. I am also very excited and happy because I am getting braces on April the 1st, and we had a long weekend! I hope that you had fun at London :) What did you do there? Last week a phew of our girls in our grade and in grade 7 went on a hockey Knysna tour and I heard that they did well. I hope that you have a lovely day and that we could stay in touch! And I hope that oneday we could meet up and become best friends!
