Zahra says hello

Hi, my name is Zahra and I am kind, positive and I love meeting new people. I live in Rondebosch and have lots of friendly neighbours, and it is close Micklefield. South Africa is just like other countries but the only thing that is different is the language and the landmarks. Micklefield is a great school to go to, it has so many sports that you can choose to do, example singing choirs like shocking pink and Xhosa choir. The teachers are kind and fun and make you work . The work that they give can be hard but they make it easy when they explain to you. I would love to go to Italy one day because Italian is a great language to learn, and I am sure you would love to come to South Africa!

  1. ROSANNA says hello!
Hi Zahra, my name is Rosanna. I am positive, kind and I love meeting new people, like you!
I live in Sant Agnello, near Sorrento. I don't have many neighbours because my house is on the hillside behind Sant Agnello. My school is called "Agostino Gemelli", it's quite close to my home. It's a beautiful school to go to. It has many extra curricular activities to do. We also have a choir, the "Alamirè Choir", and we have won many national awards. Our teachers are very kind but they give us a lot of homework! Here we don't wear a uniform like in your school. I don't know if you have pets at home but I have two dogs, Stella and Sophy and I love them.
In my freetime I love going for a walk with my best friend and I love listening to music, especially the music of One Direction who are my favourite singers. I hope you love them too?

  4. Hi Zahra
I am so happy because you love One Direction like me.
My favourite songs are "Best song ever", "Midnight memories", "One thing" and, well, all the other songs!
Next year I am going to go to the Linguistic High School in Sorrento. Maybe my friends are going to go to different schools but we are going to remain in contact.
Your school seems very interesting. What are your favourite subjects?
How do you celebrate Eid? I have never spoken to anyone who is Muslim before, or heard of Eid...
I hope you come here soon.
    Love Rosanna

  6. The picnic was fun, but half way it started to rain!! I like eating the mushroom risotto and pasta Alfredo. It has been very hot here in Cape Town and I have done a lot of swimming. My favorite singers are One Direction and Katy Perry. It's so cool that you are going to Kent. I have family who live in England. I also really like pizza and I sometimes make homemade pizzas with my dad. I love ice- cream and there is a gelato shop next door to where I live! Do you play any musical instruments? Our sports day is coming up and there are many fun races to do. My birthday is also coming up and that is very exciting!! Zander

  7. Hi Zahra,
I love English and Maths too but I hate Science. Guess what...on Sunday I went to Monteriuscello (a small town far away) for a provincial dance competition. Me and my friends danced for 3 minutes to a mix of the songs: " MiMiMi" and "Mandala". We had the 1st place!!! After that we met Anthony Donodio, a famous dancer of "Amici" - one of the most popular TV programmes in Italy. I now have Anthony's autograph on the cover of my phone!! I am very happy:) How about you? What do you do on Sundays?
    Love Rosanna
