Hi my name is Tahlia
I live in a stunning, beautiful country called South
Africa. Living here is great; it is hot in summer and cold in winter. Currently we are experiencing summer. There are nine provinces and eleven
official languages. I live in Cape Town. I love
it here; I love waking up and looking out at the mountain. Table Mountain is
one of the Seven Wonders of the World. When it gets cold and rainy, the clouds go over
the mountain and it looks like a table cloth. In cape town I go to Micklefield, a
small but wonderful school. We have the best teachers and the most fun lessons.
About me: I love hockey, art , reading, writing, swimming. My mom says to read books you love
over and over, but that is a waste of time for me. I am somewhat shy and very funny. I love to read. I am in grade 6 I love to dance I
have been in 4 dance shows.

I live in Sorrento, in Italy. Living here is great too, it is also hot and windy in summer and SO cold in winter. There are 20 regions and one official language in Italy.
I go to the I.C.A. Gemelli School, it is a beautiful school in Sant Agnello.
I love playing basketball and volleyball, dancing,swimming and singing.
I am funny and I love my friends.

ReplyDeleteRaffaelle you wanted to know what my favourite song is I don't have one in perticular I love Avril Lavinge and Taylor Swift one of my favourite song is "everything has changed" by Taylor Swift. I love to swim and I had a gala last week Friday I got very tired after it. I love to sing and I have a game on the wii called "Sing it". do you like to play on consoles. I am quite a boy as I have two brothers. My oldest brothers name is Jay and my youngest is rohan he is six and my older brother is thirteen. Do you have a favourite sport Raffaelle? I love jokes and movies. Georgia do you have a favourite movie? I like to go to the beach in summer and i live partly on the mountain. I have been to Sicily once and Sorrento for fourteen days, I loved it. from the pebble beaches to Pompeii if my family goes again maybe you have some suggestions to were we should go.I do also like to play table tennis and i wish I was good at volleyball if I played I would probably hit myself.

ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying the really hot weather and on Saturday I played indoor hockey it was so hot. Rafaelle you wanted to to know if I knew about FIFA 14 my brother loves it and sometimes I play I am not so good. Have you been watching the Olympics the figure skaters are amazing! Georgia, I went to sorrento four years ago I don't really remember much I went to Pompeii and I went the pebble beaches. You asked what my favourite food is well I have so many but I love meat and roast potatoes, what's your favourite food. When I go to the beach, Rafaelle I often go to Fish Hoek or Camps Bay, when I go, I go surfing and boogie boarding and I love building sand castles with Rohan, my younger brother. With all this talk of the Olympics, we are having our sports day on Friday. I am no good at short distance running but I am quite good at long distance running. I got braces on Monday.

ReplyDeleteI saw the picture of you Georgia, you are so pretty, Rafaele you wanted to know what my favourite Olympic sport is, well I have two one in the winter Olympics and one in the summer olympics. My favourite one in summer is swimming and in winter it is figure skating. My sports day did not go well I am no good at short distance running, our house came third out of three. I wish I could go to Italy again. the italians did very well in figure skating.

My favourite summer Olympicsport is Volleyball. I play it at the beach with my friends and family.
Today we saw a film of Cape Town. Have you seen the World cup stadium? Did you watch the matches? I'll watch the 2012 world cup on TV.

I am so exited you got to see a video of Cape Town, no I have not been to the stadium to what the matches actually i was in Sorrento during the world cup! I might watch a few of thi syears matches on TV. I love going to the beach with my family and about the stadium they have all the big concerts there, we had Eminem there recently will he come to Italy? I am happy that Spain one I did a project on Spain when i was nine. Do you like reading, I am reading The Book Thief it is about world war 2 and the author is Marcus Zusak.

ReplyDeleteThis is my last week writing to you...
I am really sad about that as I really enjoyed writing to you guys if you ever do visit Cape Town, which I hope yo do, go to the V and A Waterfront, it is really pretty, did you see a picture of Table Mountain i live just on the tip of it and so does my friend Skye. What is you favourite attraction in Italy,mine is (in Cape Town) th mountain and i always know i am home when i see it. I hope that i can come to Sant Agnello one day it would be great, are you exited for easter, what are your traditions on easter i go to my granny and eat a big lunch! I actually went near the stadium in greenpoint on Sunday, my dad and older brother were playing cricket with my dad's work, he is away in London this week and i miss him when he goes which is once a month :-( Well now I finished the book thief you really should read it. It is sad but really nice. I am now reading a series called Matched by Ally Condie.
