South Africa has many beauties. We have many landmarks and
interesting places to visit. There are nine provinces in South Africa. Some of
them have beaches, some of them have desert and some of them have big cities.
There are lots of beautiful animals in South Africa. Our national animal is the
Springbok. Some people say that Cape Town is the most beautiful city in
South Africa. There is a very famous mountain in Cape Town called Table
Mountain. Is it called Table Mountain because it is very flat on the top and
when the clouds cover the top it looks like a tablecloth. Lots of people go
walking on Table Mountain and you can also go on a cable car to the very top of
the mountain. There are lots of beaches in Cape Town. There is a very famous
beach called Boulders Beach. If you go to Boulders Beach you will see lots of
penguins. There are lots of suburbs in Cape Town.
Micklefield School is in a
suburb called Rondebosch. At Micklefield School we wear pink dresses and grey
jerseys. I love to do sport at school. My favourite colour is blue and my
favourite food is sushi. I also love swimming on sunny days.

My name is Benedetta. I'm 13 years old and I live in Sant Agnello, which is a small town near Naples, a big city in Campania Region.
In my town there are a lot of people who are very funny and sociable. Here I play a lot of sports like football, basketball, volleyball and tennis. I'm crazy about tennis, it's my favourite sport. I play twice a week and I started it 8 years ago, when I was 5! I also love football because my dad is a football coach. I usually play football with my friends or my brothers.
I have two brothers and two sisters - I've a big family!
In the holidays we usually go to the beach. In Massa Lubrensa, a town nearby, there are the most beautiful beaches in Italy. I often go to Puolo, it's a beach where people suntan, play beach volleyball and go swimming.
In my free time, mostly in the evening, I watch TV. My favourite programme is "FOX sport" because on this programme I can watch the English football Championships. My favourite team is Chelsea because Fernando Torres plays in this team. Torres plays very well and he is very nice- looking.

I also love sports. At school I play tennis, hockey, swimming and I also do running. My family and I also sometimes go to the beach in the holidays. I really love swimming in the sea. in my free time, after I have done all my homework, I like to read, draw, play on the computer and play with my dog. I like watching sport on the television. People are very friendly here in Cape Town. Next year will be my last year in junior school. I am doing exams thins year for the first time. I am so nervous!

Qui il Natale é in inverno, quindi non possiamo andare al mare! Invece restiamo a casa. Mangiamo molto e giochiamo a tombola.

ReplyDeleteThere are lots of interesting places in Cape Town to visit. I have been to world of birds but it was quite a long time ago so I can't remember too much. I do remember that there were lots and lots of different types of birds. I really enjoyed the outing and I went for lunch afterwards with my family. There are so many types of birds so I really decide which one I like the most but I do like the Lilac - Breasted roller. Do you know this bird? It is so beautiful.
Do you think that you are going to visit South Africa any time soon?
I so excited for the holidays. This week is my last week of school. It feels like this term has gone by so quickly.
