Hello my
name is Hannah
I am at a school in South Africa called Micklefield which is
in Cape Town, in a suburb called Rondebosch. In Cape Town there are lots of
fun and interesting things to do and to see. Some of you may have heard of our
famous mountain; Table Mountain, which is one of the seven wonders of the world!
There are also lots and lots of beaches to go to, the beaches here are really
wonderful! I live in Cape Town and I have
some pets like a dog and a cat. I have never been to Italy, but I would really
like to go one day- it looks like a really wonderful country! I am not sure if
any of you have been to South Africa or Cape Town for that matter, but if you
haven’t, then I would say that it’s a great place to come!
At Micklefield
School there are loads of fun activities to do like sport; the types of sport we
do are hockey, netball, tennis and swimming.

ReplyDeleteHello Hannah, my name is Roman. I am at a school in Italy called I.C. A Gemelli, it is in Sant Agnello. In Sant Agnello there are some interesting things to see and do. I love playing football but I prefer playing videogames. I you come to Italy, you can visit Sant Agello. It's beautiful in summer.

I was wondering are there any beaches in Italy well the place in Italy that you live? Do you have any questions about Cape Town if you do I will be happy to answer them! I also like playing sport and also prefer going on the computer! do you have any pets at home? I have one cat and one dog. I really hope that one day we will be able to meet each other. I really want to come to Italy one day it sounds like a really great country! I have been to Europe before because my uncle live in London. do you have any brothers or sister ( I should have really asked you this on the first thing we wrote to each other) you seem like a really friendly person! any way have you ever been to Cape town or South Africa? I will tell you a little about how I look I am quite short ( well for our class) we have very tall people in our class I have green eyes and short brown hair. Italy looks like a wonderful place to go to! in Cape Town we have quite a few Italian resteraunts ( I love Italian food! ) my favourite subjects at school is I.T ( computers ) Art, Maths and Natural Science! what are your favourite subjects? Do you like listning to music?

No, I haven't any brothers or sisters. I had a hamster but now he died. He was like a brother for me.
I haven't been in South Africa but I would like to go there. I would like to eat South African food - what do you eat there - pasta like us?
I have brown eyes and I've got short brown hair.
My favourite subjects are P.E. and Science, what about you?
I love music and my favourite kind of music is pop. My favourite singer is Justin Timberlake. Do you like music?
Noi a Natale non mangiamo il tacchino...mangiamo a base di pesce! Il salmone, le vongole ecc. Stiamo dentro casa perché fa freddo fuori- è inverno per noi!

ReplyDeleteIn South Africa we do eat Pasta like you put it's not really one of our traditional foods. Our traditional foods are loads of different meats. Is the weather in Italy cool at the moment? Because here it is so hot like yesterday was 39 degrees! I do like music and my favorite singers are one direction! Does anybody in your class like them? Shame I am so sorry about your hamster I had a hamster but she also died and she was so nice! I wish that I had a little sister or an older sister!

I saw a videoclip about Cape Town today. I really liked the Worldcup 2010 stadium. Do you like football? Have you ever been to a stadium? Did you watch the World cup? Was South Africa your favourite team? Did you watch the final? Are you going to watch the World cup this year?

Hi Roman thats really cool that you saw a video clip on Cape Town! I am really great and how are you? I have been sick last week but I feel better now :) Yes I have been to the stadium but not for the soccer world cup, i went to the Justin Bieber concert and we did a fan walk with my two best friends Chloe and Aimee and Chloe's little sister. But when it was the soccer world cup my mom and I and some friends of ours did a fan walk for the match with Argentina and Germany I was voting for Germany. Which team would you vote for? South Africa was of course my favourite team but they went out quite soon into the world cup. But then I voted for England because I have family there. I am guessing that you voted for Italy did you or did you vote for another team? I am going to watch the world cup this year the world cup always ends quite near my birthday! The world cup is in Brazil this year have you ever been to Brazil I really want to! I do like football but we don't really play it that often because we are an all girls school so its not one of our sports but I do play it in my own time. What sports do you play? I play Hockey,Netball and Tennis. Have a lovely day!

I have been very happy to come into a computer lesson and see what you have said. I have also had loads of fun replying to your questions! I would love to keep talking to you just because its been really nice! So I left my email address with my teacher because I would love to keep in touch with you! So just ask your teacher and she will give it to you and you can send me can email and I will try reply as soon as I can!
